The Heritage Initiative

As part of its continuing dedication to sustainable efforts, TreadRight, with support from Insight Vacations, launched The TreadRight Heritage Initiative. The TreadRight Heritage Initiative looks to further TreadRight’s commitment to the people and the places that we visit.

Heritage activities are vital to local economies. Millions of individuals around the world are dependent on heritage-based work, and in many developing destinations the heritage sector helps create jobs, champion economic development, build connections to the global marketplace and empower the disenfranchised.

In its first year, The TreadRight Heritage Initiative lends its support to the Alliance for Artisan Enterprise. Together, TreadRight and the Alliance for Artisan Enterprise will support ancient cultural traditions that preserve the unique richness and diversity of people and place. Through this partnership, TreadRight has created a small grants program for artisan enterprises.

Insight Vacations and The Travel Corporation family of brands proudly support The TreadRight Heritage Initiative.
