Trip: Our first cruise & thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Service: Very well organised trip. Everything went very well & our tour manager & driver were excellent.

  • 03 October, 2018

Trip: As I have written above plus the fact that we were extremely lucky with the weather, only one day with rain and to top that off, we had beautiful SNOW in Jasper (which is absolutely wonderful for Australians). The Columbian Icefields were another highlight for us and the cruise on the Nieuw Amsterdam was perfect. Great weather and great food and service on the cruise.Couldn't fault it.

Service: The accommodation was exceptional, food was wonderful, the whole experience ran like clockwork. The driver, Martin, was experienced and very capable, the extra things that Nancy included made us all feel very special. She made the trip for us and really deserves more money! I will confidently recommend Luxury Gold to my friends as I am sure they will be as satisfied as we were. The only thing that I was mildly disappointed with was the Rocky Mountaineer - the food was great, the staff were great but because we had seen SO much of the magnificent scenery on the road with Nancy and Martin, I found the train trip to be slightly boring and was glad I took my book, plus, arriving hours late in Vancouver due to goods trains holding us up, really was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I was glad to get off and I wasn't the only one who felt like that.

Trip: Wonderful! Canada is in our hearts forever..would have enjoyed an extra night in Lake Louise to explore a little more..the Rocky Mountaineer was very special! The cruise gave us time to relax & breathe on the spectacular scenery!

Service: We cannot praise the service enough! Our Tour Director Nancy & Coach driver Martin made our experience a holiday to remember! Their knowledge, duty of care & the ability to handle every situation with professionalism was above & beyond all our expectations!

  • 22 September, 2018

Trip: I liked that there were mainly 2 night stops and that we have some free time to explore and do what we wanted. I also liked the dine around choices.

Service: Generally it was very good. My only disappointment was at the end the Tour Director wasn't forthcoming with the email list and detailing the map which she promised to do. Other than that I have no complaints.

  • 22 September, 2018

Trip: Visited all the destinations we had hoped for. Well co-ordinated excursions. Breakfast at Butchard Gardens, Victoria, and early entry was a great feature. Similarly, early entry and talk by guide at the Capilano Suspension bridge was great. We also appreciated the special Canadian Mounties talk at Banff.

Service: Excellent food, well organised, cheerful and helpful tour director, friendly, competent bus driver. Trip of a lifetime.

  • 15 September, 2018

Service: They girls I dealt with were always very helpful Always answered my emails promptly and rang me when necessary. I always talk about your company with admiration and recommend them frequently Our trip was organised perfectly and everything went off without a hitch I would also like to comment on our Travel Concierge Nancy Wanstall Nancy was absolutely fantastic, her knowledge of the area we were travelling each day as brilliant, she made each day fun and exciting and went out of her way to make sure everyone on the trip enjoyed themselves. I am sure anyone who is lucky enough to get Nancy as the Concierge will also have a fantastic holiday

  • 15 September, 2018

Trip: Every was perfect & no problems at al

Service: Very impressed again with the great service, places to stay & visit & the knowledge of Nancy our host for the trip. Would use luxury Gold again.

  • 01 September, 2018

Trip: Great balance between seeing as much as possible without rushing from place to place.

Service: The transfer from the airport, meeting the TD before the tour started and the gift travel bag were great. The tranfer from the hotel to the cruise could have been done better, by arranging for our bags to be picked from the hotel and delivered to the ship, as has happened on other cruises. I would travel with them and recoomend them

  • 19 August, 2018

Trip: Very good. Seamless transition between operators.

Service: Itinerary was everything I wanted. Dining options excellent. Optional excursions need to be looked at and variety improved

  • 16 August, 2018

Trip: Great itinerary, loved that we had two days in each place. Would like to have had three

Service: Tour guide Nancy was fantastic, she made the trip. Hotels were very good. Everything ran so smoothly, there were no issues. Based on this trip,we would use Luxury Gold again. We have just fiinished a Globus tour of Eastern Canada and there is no comparison. Constant issue on that trip!

  • 11 August, 2018

Service: The train and cruise were great, wouldn’t go on a bus trip again
