Trip: If it was possible I would give the itinerary 3 1/2 stars owing to the following :The first half of the trip was reasonably well paced allowing for relaxed starts and free days and 2 night stops. Though it would much better if a 2 night stay at Lake Louise was possible. We arrived late afternoon and left early morning hardly having time to walk the lake. Quite disappointing...... The seconded half of the trip we felt was more rushed with a number of early starts in a row. Please look at making this tour as few 1 night stops as possible and in particular reduce the early starts. We are in our late 50's and fit and found it tiring, many other travellers were in their 70's and a number mentioned how tiring the trip became and doubted they would do another bus tour. Guests book luxury gold in the hope it slower and a luxury experience and have paid as such. The tour went to some lovely places but please allow time for us to enjoy them slow down the pace - particularly given the price of Luxury gold.

Service: We were very happy with our tour guide Nancy and with our drive Martin. Both are very professional and did everything they could to make our trip enjoyable. Nancy has a wealth of knowledge giving us interesting information along the way.

    Service: couldnt have been better

Trip: See previous, ie. the above.

Service: The tour guide AND the driver were a great team, both contributing to the commentary without trying to upstage the other or take the micky. Both demonstrating a level of courtesy exceeding our experience on previous tours. The only thing that may have the improved the experience, could be less or no one night stops. It is appreciated however that this would likely be impractical.

Trip: It was great because we visited so many different places in 2 weeks. A great variety. We also appreciated that there was plenty of "on our own time" so we could see other things we wanted to explore.

Service: Our Travel Concierge, Nancy Wanstaller, was exceptional! She took care of each and everyone of us on our tour, Majesty of the Rockies. As I told her, she and our driver, Martin, raised the bar so high as to exceed any expectations we might have had. Will be difficult for any other trip to meet that high bar!!

Trip: This was a great itinerary, We saw all the highlights of the area (although the smoke made the first few days difficult) . Time spent on Vancouver Island was good .

Service: Apart from not receiving our documents till after we had left for our trip everything else worked exceptionally well. From the time we landed in Vancouver we were met and taken hassle free to our hotel, checked in and then went to meet our TC We had the most awesomeTour Concierge Nancy Wanstall. She made our trip more than we could have hoped for. Her enthusiasm professionalism and her amazing sense of humour had everyone on the coach totally united within two days. Our bus driver Marten ?? was amazing, we had complete trust in his ability as a driver and he and Nancy were a great team. Entertained us at each stop. Lovely. Hotels were of a good standard and everything went like clockwork, much because Nancy informed us all the time of where to be and what time. etc. The coach was super comfortable with the most leg room of any bus we have ever been on. Hopefully all your tours have these buses. All in all this was an amazing two weeks spent in a beautiful country Canada and many new friends were made along the way. Thankyou Nancy and Insight. !!!

Service: As usual this was spot on. The customer service is not a right term... it should be Customer Experience ..... and the experience was fantastic

Trip: On the whole this trip was terrific. However, the opening meal was NOT preceded by a cocktail hour and the meal was served at a single long table. It made it VERY difficult to mix and meet with the other participants. Every other tour we have gone on has had a cocktail hour and that really helps to get people to know each other. Also, I would have preferred extra time in Lake Louise and less in Banff. Although the hotel in Banff is spectacular, the rooms and particularly the bathrooms are small and other than shopping, I didn't get that there was much to do in Banff. I loved having a day off there to rest, but I would have been just as happy with a day trip from Lake Louise to Banff. The bus was great. Since my husband is 6 foot 3 and I am tall as well, we really love the legroom that Insight gives us. I was amazed that we never tired of looking out the window at scenery that was so beautiful. Our kids said that our pictures looked like postcards.

Service: The itinerary was well planned and carried out smoothly. The guide was well versed in the information of the area. Hotels and meals were exceptional. The down day in Banff was a perfect break.

  • 13 September, 2018

Trip: All of the areas visited were different and interesting.

Service: Everything was done extremely well (ie hotel rooms, food, travel, both bus & train).

  • 12 September, 2018

    Trip: Beautiful scenery, interesting history.

Service: Oh, yes. Everything was just as promised in the brochure. Our rooms were fabulous, the food was delightful, and the scenery was beautiful. Our bus was comfortable and clean and the driver extremely courteous. Our trip concierge, Keith, provided snacks, entertaining stories, and interesting history. He helped find lost articles and took care of our every need. Thanks again for a wonderful, fun-filled two weeks.

  • 11 September, 2018

Trip: Loved the itinerary! This was a splurge for us, and we especially loved the Four Seasons, the Fairmonts in Lake Louise and Banff, and the spectacular scenery. Our room in Jasper was disappointing, however. The lodge was lovely, though. All the buffet breakfasts were outstanding except in Kelowna. They struggled to keep the buffet stocked, and it was skimpy. Our tour guide and bus driver were fantastic. Suggestion: Make more of the activities optional regarding payment. My husband became very ill and had to miss several activities that we had pre-paid for. I missed the float trip to check on him.

Service: Very organized; good information package; excellent itinerary
