Trip: Cruise was outstanding. Boarding and dismemberment when very smoothly. All the ship personnel were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the shipboard entertainment and activities. Good quality and variety of different foods. Wide selection of excursions. Most ports provide things to do within walking distance. Meet some travelers who making the round trip. We would recommend this cruise for the ports and overall value.
Service: Tour director Max and driver Eugene were great. Hotel accommodate were very good and within walking distance to some of the points of interest. Tickets to some of the attraction were obtained by Max so the group did not have to wait in line. This made the best use of the groups time. Enjoyed having a couple days stay at the same hotel. Did not seemed rushed. The special dinners beside the hotels were excellent!! Yes, we would recommend this tour to our friends and fellow traveler.

Trip: We thoroughly enjoyed the coach component of this tour, and this was followed up by a very enjoyable cruise with Holland America on the Rotterdam. Our stateroom was spacious and well appointed and all we could have wanted for our week on board, and we were also provided with great dining options and experiences. The staff on board were extremely courteous and friendly. The choice of on shore tours was very broad and we thoroughly enjoyed the ones we chose, again in a very short time being given just a taste of this beautiful part of the world.
Service: Everything was extremely well organised. All of the accommodation was excellent and well situated. Each one was unique and delightful and also gave us wonderfully comfortable beds to return to at the end of each day. Our tour guide, Max Davidson, was absolutely brilliant. He was very informative, had a great sense of humour, but also guided us in every sense of the word, making sure that we were well informed on all sorts of things - suggesting where we would find great places to eat and what could be enjoyable things to do on our free time, making sure everyone knew exactly what they needed to do at the end of the coach tour re catching flights or heading to the cruise, even down to where we would find the restrooms at different places when we stopped for various breaks. In his confident, efficient, but very gentle manner he made everyone feel completely secure and so able to thoroughly enjoy their trip. Our driver, Eugene was wonderful - very careful and competent and a thorough gentleman. They made a great team. And of course the tour of eastern Canada was great, fulfilling the dream we had, giving us a delightful taste of gorgeous cities and stunning scenery.

Trip: Insight Eastern Canada Toronto / Niagara - 1 star: Overbooked or Poorly Planned. Provide a box lunch on the motor coach or schedule a different lunch stop. 3:30 PM is too late for lunch. Ottawa - 2 stars: had to stand in line to get my own tickets for the Parliament tour. Tours are still happening even though Insights has removed them as an option. Loved the Parliament tour and the night time light show. Hotel was well located. We walked all over the city. Quebec - 5 stars: Hotel was well located. Plenty of time to walk to stores and restaurants. Citadel tour (not part of scheduled itinerary) was interesting. Montreal - 3 stars: Very little time to see the city. Spent most of the day on the bus. Cruise Sailed back to Quebec City and did most of the things we had done before. - 2 stars Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island - enjoyed seeing Falcons and flying Hawks. - 5 stars Sydney, Nova Scotia - Big Fiddle and Fort - 4 stars Peggy's Cove - Interesting Fishing Village. Picturesque. - 5 stars Halifax - Not enough time. Wanted to see Gardens, Titanic Cemetery, Maritime Museum and Immigration Museum. Only able to see Titanic and Immigration. - 3 stars
Service: Insights Eastern Canada - 3 Day 1 was poorly planned. Waited at Helicopter site for 45 minutes for bus to return. Waited in Hornblower / Niagara falls boat general line 30-40 minutes before our group moved into the line for groups. Ate lunch at 3:30 at Niagara on the Lake with no time to shop. Back in Toronto Hotel about 7:30. Dinner at 8. Always told we were on schedule. Day 2 started almost as bad with a deprecating lecture from Max, the Tour Director, that none of us have ever really experience hunger. Fortunately the trip was much better after this. Tour director was knowledgeable and rotated seats on the motor coach so everyone had a chance at front, middle and back. Cruise - 5 Holland America exceeded my expectations. Fabulous service.

Trip: We would have been happier with cruise if there had been someone from Luxury Gold on the ship. We also found that the excursions were very expensive on the ship. We would have preferred the excursion costs to be included in the overall cost at the beginning. As far as the "Road Trips" were concerned I believe we have already covered this in previous comments. Five Star for the road section and Four Star for the cruise although we did greatly enjoy both. Gerald & Diana More
Service: The trip was well organised and our concierge was very thorough and made sure everyone was well prepared for each day's events. The longer bus travel days were broken by some special events at the rest points which were very welcomed by the travelers. The accommodation was first class in particular the Fairmont Hotels. All hotels were within walking distance of the tourist attractions. We would certainly travel again with Luxury Gold. We found Jen a delight to ravel with. Gerald & Diana More.
