The Daintree Rainforest<\/h3>\n

The UNESCO-listed Daintree Rainforest is a living time capsule to the ancient origins of life on Earth. Believed to be 135 to 180 million years old, it\u2019s the oldest tropical rainforest in the world. To put this in perspective, it predates the Amazon Rainforest by around 100 million years. It spans over 463 square miles (1,200 square km), making it four times the size of Malta.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
